In a candid interview from his Rubican Estate Winery in Rutherford, Calif., legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola explained why he had sought out a relationship with projection system manufacturer SIM2 Multimedia.

SIM2 on Friday launched its international advertising campaign featuring legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. The launch was held this week at Coppola's Rubicon Estate in Rutherford, Calif, and included a tour of Coppola's winery.
SIM2 announced Thursday that it is offering a five-year warranty on the lamps of its Grand Cinema projectors. The warranty covers the C3X LUMIS and C3X LUMIS HOST Reference models.
SIM2 USA said Thursday that it has promoted Alberto Fabiano to the position of vice president of marketing. Fabiano, who will retain his position as sales manager for Australia, will be based in Hollywood, Calif.
SIM2 announced Tuesday that the legendary director of "The Godfather," "The Godfather Part II" and "Apocalypse Now," Francis Ford Coppola, will be featured in the company's global marketing campaign in the next year.
