Industry veteran George Stepancich, now CEO of  Invisionate, LLC, attended the recent CEA Industry Forum and Hall of Fame dinner and wrote a blog post about it on his company's site:

The Consumer Electronics Association elected its 2012 Executive Board this week at its Industry Forum in San Diego, which includes five new members: Best Buy Americas President Mike Vitelli, Sony Electronics president Phil Molyneux, Cobra Electronics CEO Jim Bazet, Aridian Technologies vice president Robert Fields and Invisionate CEO George Stepancich.

As I sat thinking about writing a column on the latest in convergence, I was reminded of a book on string theory, "Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene.
