Next up for Electrolux in North America is a range of kitchen appliances that can cost as much as $120,000 as the company fills out the upscale end of its product line.

That's from Jack Truong, president and chief executive of Electrolux Major Appliances North America, today during a lunch with journalists at the unit's Charlotte headquarters.

The line of appliances, called Grand Cuisine, is due out in the years to come. It will include as many as seven items to stock the kitchens of custom luxury homes.

John Weinstock will join Electrolux Major Appliances North America (EMA-NA) as vice president, marketing. Weinstock will oversee brand management, consumer insight-led innovation, and integrated trade and consumer marketing campaigns for major appliances in North America.
