WASHINGTON, D.C.—After a year of transition, including a new city and a completely new staff, the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) is finally settled in and ready for business, beginning with its annual member meeting held recently in its new home town. The association announced at last year's annual meeting that it was in the industry's best interest for its headquarters to move from Chicago to Washington, D.C. in order to be closer to the political action.
