A new website and more warehousing space help drive Audio America's momentum into 2018
Distributor Audio America in October held a pair of dealer events in its territory, hosting day-long exhibitions in Jupiter, Fla. on the 18th and Marietta, Ga., a week later, on the 25th. The events drew more than 200 attendees each from across the company’s territory in the Southeast, as well as 40 vendors, CEO Jonathan Elster told Dealerscope.
Jonathan Elster, formerly of SDI International, has been named the new CEO of Audio America. He replaces Ryan Munder, who will remain as chairman.
SED International announced Friday that it has named Robert G. (Bob) O’Malley as its new president and CEO. A veteran of IBM, O'Malley will replace Jonathan Elster.
SED international announced Thursday that CEO Jonathan Elster is stepping down and a search has launched to find his successor.
Elster will remain in the CEO position until the successor is found, and will remain both on the board and with the company in a "senior executive capacity."
SED International swung to a loss of $830,000 in the first quarter, compared to a $738,000 profit the same time the year before.
