Niles Audio announced this week that it has named Julie Hazard its new sales program manager. Hazard spent the last 18 years at Sonance and will report to Niles Audio president Mike Detmer.

RadioShack Corp. named Michael Newman its new senior vice president and chief financial officer, to replace Dwain H. Hughes who died earlier this year. Newman worked 18 years with General Electric and four years as CFO of Hussmann International. RadioShack also promoted Nina B. Petty to vice president of corporate real estate. She previously served as senior director of corporate real estate. Jeffrey P. Freimark was named senior executive vice president and chief financial officer of OfficeMax. Compiled by Chris Jagger Best Buy promoted Joe Pagano to Senior Vice President of Enterprise Entertainment, a newly created position. The company said Pagano will be responsible for "creating a template for the entertainment industry to work with both Best Buy's 430 retail stores as well as the more than 1,300 stores of Sam Goody, On Cue, Media Play and Suncoast Video." Pagano joined Best Buy in 1992 as senior buyer of movies, was promoted to merchandise manager of video in 1994 and added the music category to his responsibilities in 1996.
