DTS announced Thursday that it is teaming up with Fine Sounds Group's brands- McIntosh, Sonus Faber and Wadia- to integrate with its Play-Fi whole home audio technology.
The Fine Sounds Group, the parent company of McIntosh Labs, is being sold as part of a management buyout. Fine Sounds CEO Mauro Grange and McIntosh president Charlie Randall are leading the buyout, with backing from LBO France and Yarpa.
McIntosh announced the launch of two new home audio products at this year's CEDIA, the MCD550 SACD/CD Player and the MA8000 Integrated Amplifier.
