Monster’s head monster, Noel Lee, announced this week that the U.S. retail debut of Monster Products’ SoundStage wireless music system - which includes three uniquely shaped, svelte speakers – Models S1 ($199.95), S2 ($299.95) and the S3, with a leather-enhanced chassis ($399.95) – will take place at the end of October, with Best Buy as the inaugural retail outlet.

When it was first reported earlier this month that Apple was in talks to acquire Beats Electronics, Noel Lee- founder of Monster, the company that partnered with Beats for the first few years of its existence- issued a statement congratulating the parties, while also talking up Monster's post-Beats headphone offerings.
