John Froman was kicked upstairs at Circuit City. He is now executive vice president and chief operating officer. Froman joined Circuit City in 1986 and is a Dealerscope Editorial Advisory Board member. Former Target Senior VP Kim D. Maguire filled Froman's old post as Circuit City's new executive vice president of merchandising. Circuit City also named Carl C. Liebert III president of its Northeast operating division, which includes 111 stores located from Pennsylvania through the state of Maine.
