Target announced Monday that the head of Target.com is leaving the company. According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Target says that the departure of Steve Eastman is not for performance reasons.

Target announced last week that it plans to establish its own Web platform for Target.com, replacing a partnership with Amazon.com that had been in place since 2001.
