2017 Dealerscope IMPACT! Awards: Meet the Winners
While out in Las Vegas for CES 2017, we announced the winners of the first-ever Dealerscope IMPACT! Awards—a program designed to recognize products in the consumer electronics industry that are innovative, help drive sales on the show floor, and drive consumers into stores.
“Recognizing manufacturers for their innovative products is one thing, but what the IMPACT! Awards do is give us the opportunity to bring attention to those products that are both unique and easy to sell for consumer electronics retailers,” said Dealerscope editor Rob Stott. “And it’s not just our picks as editors. These awards are basically handed out by the very people manufacturers rely on to sell their products.”
Dealerscope asked everyone in the industry—manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and even consumers—to have a say in voting for the products that they believed deserved to be recognized. In order to qualify, the nominations had to represent an individual product and emphasize innovation and enticing consumers to experience it in-person.
“The audience participation in the awards is what makes them so special. We had hundreds of submissions. It really shows how invested people in the industry are in what they do and how they can do it best,” said editor Katie Nale.
The Dealerscope audience voted on 26 categories of products and services in the consumer electronics industry. Examples include Digital Imaging, Audio, Gaming, and more. The winners in each of the award categories were notified by the editors of Dealerscope, and were recognized during CES 2017.
