Petra Raises $100,000 at Hope-in-One Charity Golf Tournament
Continuing a proud and successful tradition, consumer electronics distributor Petra held its 19th annual Charity Golf Tournament last week. The event, which took place over two days at the Topgolf Oklahoma City and Oak Tree Country Club, raised $100,000 in support of the Whiz Kids Oklahoma City and Mercy Multiplied, Intl.
"Giving back to the community is one of the cornerstones of any successful business, and Hope-in-One is a great example of that," Petra President Tate Morgan said in a statement. "I'm proud to say that it's been another successful year for the tournament, and I'm thankful for the support of our vendors and partners who helped make it happen."
More than 120 partners and vendors participated in the event, which included a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament, a night out at the local Topgolf location, and an 18 hold scramble.
“It is encouraging to know that not only are individual lives changed every day through these fruitful charities, but also the lives of future generations,” said Petra Founder and CEO, Bill Stewart.
