Spain Has Sprung for the 2019 IFA Global Press Conference
We’re still awaiting the actual conference program to get underway here in Punta Umbria, Spain—a coastal town about an hour southwest of Seville—but IFA has officially taken residence at the host hotel here, completely rebranding the Barceló Punta Umbría Beach Resort as its own “IFA Villa.” As is traditionally the case at the IFA Global Press Conference, the host hotel has been showered in a sea of red, with intricate touches of IFA splashed throughout the entire property.
Perhaps the most impressive display seen so far are actual art installations that are regularly here slightly rebranded to show the IFA red. It’s a detail that’s far from necessary and certainly doesn’t physically contribute to the success of the Global Press Conference. But what is does is give off this impression of IFA as an organization that’s extremely attentive to every last detail. Of course, it’s important to note that Dealerscope is officially an IFA publication under the CT Lab Global Media banner. But that fact doesn’t (and shouldn’t) influence how awe-inspiring it is to walk around the property here and see the complete rebranding that’s taken place.
We did a quick walking tour ahead of the official opening of the GPC. Be assured, though, these photos don’t do any sort of justice to what IFA was able to accomplish for the 2019 edition of this exquisite event.
