PopSockets’ Allison Schmitz explained the varieties of the company’s combination phone grip/stand, which adheres to the back of a smartphone with a removable water-based gel and, when it is extended, can accommodate a wrapped headphone cord. Basic price for most designs is $9.99, and materials such as woodgrain, carbonite and aluminum increase the price to $14.99. Special editions, such as the Swarovski crystal PopSocket she is holding, are also available.
